The Atlantis model is a water filtration system based on ultrafiltration (UF). Ultrafiltration does not differ much from reverse osmosis (RO) in terms of the filtration process. The difference lies in the size of the membrane pores. In UF, it is 0.01 microns and in reverse osmosis (RO) it is 0.0001 microns.
Reverse osmosis can filter between 95 and 99% of impurities, but it is not always necessary. Ultrafiltration does it at 70-80%, but leaves the minerals in the water. Ultrafiltration is cheaper to buy, easier to install, and simpler and cheaper to maintain than reverse osmosis systems. The membrane lasts on average 5 times longer than a reverse osmosis membrane. The Atlantis model has 3 filters for 4 filtrations. These filters are very easy to replace.
The Atlantis model filters: chlorine, fluoride, bacteria, viruses, parasites, microplastics, GenX, PFAS, pesticides, and heavy metals, among others.

DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE: HERMES vs ATLANTIS
The difference between the Hermes and the Atlantis mainly lies in the size, and the filtering capacity of the Atlantis is greater. The Atlantis is ± 25% smaller than the Hermes, which can be an important argument for those wishing to use this system in a motorhome, caravan, or boat. Both systems operate with low water pressure, and no additional pump is needed.
INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY
This ultrafiltration system requires installation in your kitchen, caravan, motorhome, or boat. The delivery of the system includes all the parts you need, such as the faucet, the water hammer, and the accessories. It is much easier to install than a reverse osmosis system, but it requires some knowledge and skill.
