WATER QUALITY

Scientific research shows that the level of water pollution worldwide reaches 72%! Much of the water contains many microplastic particles, as well as many other contaminants such as pesticides, fungicides, pharmaceutical residues, hormones, bacteria, and viruses, among others. In many foreign countries, the water has a strong chlorine taste and/or is not recommended for drinking. With UF systems, you can filter out water contaminants and provide your caravan with pure drinking water wherever you are.

WATER FILTRATION

There are several methods to filter water, some of which are mainly used in industry, such as microfiltration and nanofiltration. For domestic use, there are two effective methods: reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration.

WHAT FILTRATION METHOD IS THE MOST SUITABLE?

The purest way to filter water is "reverse osmosis" or RO. This filtration technique can filter between 95% and 99% of all contaminants;

However, reverse osmosis is not suitable for a caravan, because the system requires a high water pressure. Additionally, a reverse osmosis system takes up a lot of space. It is very suitable for domestic use, when the water pressure is sufficient and there is enough space in the kitchen cabinet.

The best alternative to reverse osmosis is ultrafiltration. Ultrafiltration, like reverse osmosis, is a membrane technique. The main difference lies in the pore size of this membrane. In UF, it is 0.01 microns, while in reverse osmosis it is 0.0001 microns. As a result, it requires much less water pressure and the system is many times more compact, easier to install, and maintain. Thus, the system does not need electricity and only has 1 filter (all-in-one) that is easy to replace.

THE FILTRATION METHOD AND HEALTH

With ultrafiltration, between 70% and 80% of the water is filtered. Through this UF technique, this system filters, among other things: bacteria, viruses, microplastics, fluoride, GenX, PFAS, chlorine, pesticides (including glyphosate), heavy metals (including lead, aluminum, nickel, and copper), pharmaceutical and medication residues (including antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, beta-blockers) and medications (for cancer, contraceptives, antidepressants, and hormones).

INSTALLATION IN CARAVAN

UF systems are compact systems based on membrane filtration that are available on the market. You can install the system in your caravan, motorhome, or boat, or you can have it installed by a professional, such as a plumber or a recreational vehicle workshop. The system is easy to install and requires low water pressure.

EASY MAINTENANCE
